The Birthplace of Route 66 Festival takes to the sky this year as we are joined by two Stearman Formation Pilots to kick off the festival on Thursday. Two vintage World War II biplanes will fly over the festival footprint around 6:45 p.m.
Pilot Rod Hightower and a fellow Stearman pilot will also fly over the parade route Friday night starting at 6 p.m.
